Just about five years ago, Pro V1 loyalist Jeong Jang walked down the 18th fairway at Royal Birkdale in the 2005 Women's British Open with a three shot lead, smiling and waving to the gallery, knowing she was about to win her first LPGA tournament and major championship.

She concluded her dominating wire-to-wire victory with a birdie on the 72nd hole, closing in 3-under 69 for a 16-under 272 total, four shots clear of everyone else.
