It was a busy (and windy) Tuesday at the BMW Championship for a few Titleist Brand Ambassadors, including Deutsche Bank Championship winner Charley Hoffman and newly-named Ryder Cup players Zach Johnson and Rickie Fowler. Titleist Brand Ambassador Charley Hoffman made it look easy on Labor Day, recording 11 birdies in a final-round 9-under 62 at TPC Boston that earned him a five-shot victory and moved him to No. 2 in the FedEx Cup Playoffs standings.

"It's a no-brainer. Best ever (victory)," said Hoffman, who started to pull away from the field after holing out from a bunker for birdie on the par-4 13th. "To go out and shoot 62 on a pretty tough golf course (in the final round), it's fun."

Hoffman, 33, posted four rounds in the 60s (64-67-69-62), shooting a back-nine 29 Sunday to tie the tournament record with a 22-under 262 total and collect his second career PGA Tour victory. He rolled in his Titleist Pro V1 golf ball for birdie on the par-5 18th and pumped his fist to the Boston crowd. Hoffman was one of 64 players in the field of 99 players at TPC Boston that trusted a Titleist golf ball, more than seven times the nearest competitor with nine.

He also became the second player to find the winner's circle using the Titleist 910 prototype driver following Titleist Brand Ambassador Ross Fisher's victory last month at the Irish Open.

Hoffman, who plays a 910D3 9.5 (D1 setting) with Diamana Whiteboard 83X shaft, finished the week tied for fifth in Driving Accuracy (78.6 percent) and 10th in Driving Distance (299.8 yards).

In total, 19 players in the Deutsche Bank field gamed the Titleist 910 prototype driver, including Titleist Brand Ambassadors Geoff Ogilvy (T-2) and Adam Scott (T-5).

Also in Hoffman's bag are the Titleist MB irons (3-9), Vokey Design Spin Milled wedges (48, 56, 60) and Scotty Cameron Red X putter. Titleist was the No. 1 choice of players at the Deutsche Bank Championship in Iron Sets (30), Sand, Lob and Approach Wedges (84) and Putters (37).

Many of the world's best golfers are at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass., this week for the Deutsche Bank Championship, the second stop of the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup Playoffs.

Last year at TPC Boston, Titleist Brand Ambassador Steve Stricker closed in 4-under 67 to edge Titleist Brand Ambassador Jason Bohn and Pro V1 loyalist Scott Verplank by a shot.

"Obviously very excited to be here," Stricker said Thursday. "You know, any time you have such good things happen at a course and then go on to win and come back the next year, you come back with all those positive vibes and positive thoughts, and it's great to be back here and kind of relive those memories as I was going around there today. So looking forward to playing, and the course is in great shape."

Only the top 70 and ties in the FedEx Cup points standings after the Deutsche Bank Championship will advance to next week's BMW Championship at Cog Hill just outside of Chicago. It is also the final event before Pro V1 loyalist and U.S. Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin makes his final four captain's picks for the U.S. Ryder Cup team.

Team Titleist members K. Wood, S. Spence, R. Berche, M. Cunningham, M. Hollow, E. Zexter, K. Phelps and J. Rapoza won tickets to this event through Team Titleist and will be attending the event courtesy of the Deutsche Bank Championship.
