Ten loyal Team Titleist members stood in the lobby of Titleist Ball Plant 3 earlier this month wearing Titleist hats and eager grins, unsure of their schedule for the day, but certain it was going to be a great one.A couple weeks earlier, e-mails notifying them of their invitation to an "Exclusive Team Titleist Member Event" hit their in-boxes. A few of the members said "it sounded too good to be true."
It turned out to be "unbelievable," according to Team Titleist Member Kevin Yalmokas. "It was superb. Unbelievable," he said. "It was an unbelievable day."
The experience started with a behind-the-scenes tour of Titleist Golf Ball Plant 3 in New Bedford, Mass., where the Titleist Pro V1, Pro V1x and NXT Tour golf balls are produced. The tour of of the facility, which is not offered to the general public, featured a step-by-step view into the making of the #1 ball in golf and showcased the technological advances that Titleist has made in golf ball design and development."It's incredible how they put all that technology into it and then you see the finished the product," said Team Titleist member Don Daniels. "It's just, wow."
From there, the Team Titleist members hopped on a shuttle to Titleist's Manchester Lane Test Facility, where Titleist conducts golf ball research, development and testing. After touring the facility (which included a look at the robotic golf ball hitting machine in action), the members went through a Titleist Performance Golf Ball Fitting at Manchester Lane's short game area and participated in a closest-to-the-pin competition for some unique Titleist prizes including a custom "Team Titleist" stamped WedgeWorks Exclusives wedge.
The final couple of hours were spent on Manchester Lane's driving range, where each member was able to test the new Titleist 910 prototype drivers, which are currently only available to professional golfers on the worldwide tours as part of Titleist's performance-validation process.Check out the video and slideshow below for an inside look at the entire day.

So we know you're probably asking, "How do I get invited to an event like this?" Well, the more you participate and the more engaged you are with Team Titleist, from posting in the forums and adding blog comments to completing your profile, the better your chances are at potentially opening the doors to Team Titleist rewards, including the opportunity to participate in product testing panels, take part in exclusive sweepstakes and attend one-of-a-kind events. We're excited to offer more of these Team Titleist perks in the future to our most dedicated members and want to know what other opportunities you would like to see.

That was truly amazing. I'm sure that everyone had a great trip! Hopefully, someday, I'll have the same oppotunity!

How nice that'd be..... I would rather get into the clubmaking process, but indeed a Ball Plant tour nontheless would be amazing. Ultimate prize would be a Scotty Tour and being fit for a Putter... aaaah, I'll keep dreaming... (maybe I can have that stamped on my putter?!) ha.

Sounds like a great day for those lucky Titleist Team members. Also, thanks for the chance to test the new golf ball. I was impressed.

What an awesome experience!! It was a very fortunate opportunity to get inside the facility and get a first hand crack at the new 910's. The treatment from the enitre Team Titleist team could not have been any better. What a top notch, knowledgable, and friendly crew that worked directly with me to find the right fit.

This is probably the best perk of being on the team.

What a day indeed! That's like scoring the golden ticket to the chocolate factory...
It's so awesome that Titleist does this. It's no wonder that so many people wear Titleist hats everywhere. Every time I pass someone sporting one there's always a quick glance exchanged that says: "I get it" - Titleist definitely gets it.
Congratulations to all the TT members that made it.

Boy, this would be a little bit of heaven, or an experience for my "bucket list". I am one of Titleist's biggest fans playing their equipment and balls for over 30 years. Unfortunately, I love to have the newest and best equipment from Titleist. Can't wait to see and test the new 910 drivers and new fairway and hybirdy clubs. I believe in playing the best equipment available; that's why I choose Titleist!!!!!!!

Gotta love it! This would be amazing.

I just completed the test on the prototype golf balls and I am really impressed with the reactions of it off the driver. It is around 20 yards farther off the driver than the prov1 and
8 to 10 than the prov1x. The irons are about the same and the feel with the putter is about like the prov1. The spin with the lob wedge is a little less than the prov1 but more than the
prov1x. Over all I think that it is a good ball.Thank you for the chance to test them for you.

Not a bad way to spend the day. Very impressed with the 910 cosmetics already, but the sound at impact is perfect.
