The final event of the 2010 LPGA season is upon us – and it should be an interesting conclusion with the LPGA money list title, Vare Trophy (scoring average) and Rolex Player of the Year races all still up for grabs.
Chasing those titles this week at the LPGA Tour Championship will be several Titleist golf ball players, including four out of the top five players in the Rolex World Rankings: 1. Jiyai Shin (Pro V1); 3. Cristie Kerr (Pro V1); 4. Yani Tseng (Pro V1x); and 5. Na Yeon Choi (Pro V1x) – all of whom spent time with us Tuesday at Grand Cypress Golf Club in Orlando, Fla., during our LPGA TV shoot. (We'll post behind-the-scenes pictures soon.)
In total, 87 players at the LPGA Tour Championship are trusting Titleist golf ball this week, more than six times the nearest competitor with six.
Team Titleist members T. Meadows, D. Galloway, S. McGuigan, J. Coffey, J. Henry, J. Williams, R. Sygerych, J. Mock, C. Cundiff, P. Bean, B. Berzanskis, J. Stricklin, M. Marquez, S. Bartle, K. Smith and T. Kyle won tickets to this event through Team Titleist and will be attending the event courtesy of the LPGA Tour Championship.TV coverage of the tournament on Golf Channel is as follows (all times ET):
