Pro V1x loyalist Bubba Watson started the new year by putting a New Titleist Pro V1x golf ball into play at the season-opening Hyundai Tournament of Champions.
A couple weeks later, Watson found himself holding up his New Titleist Pro V1x in the winner's circle at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, marking the seventh win for the New Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls across the worldwide professional tours since the seeding process began last September.
Watson is the first player to win on the PGA Tour using either the New Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball.
"You don't play the ball if you don't have confidence in it," said Watson, who earned his first PGA Tour victory last June at the
Travelers Championship. "If it doesn't feel good to you then you're not going to perform well. For me it's been 20 years and it's still performing well."
Team Titleist caught up with Watson earlier in the season to talk about the performance of the New Pro V1x and finding the best Titleist golf ball for your game.Check out the video below to see what he had to say.

Pro V1x loyalist Bubba Watson trusted a New Titleist Pro V1x golf ball in winning the Farmers Insurance Open Sunday at Torrey Pines, the same weekend the New Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls were officially introduced at the 2011 PGA Merchandise Show.
Watson got up-and-down from a greenside bunker on the par-5 18th hole on Torrey Pines' South Course, rolling in his New Titleist Pro V1x golf ball for birdie from 12 feet for a closing 5-under 67 and one-shot victory, the second in his last 12 starts on the PGA Tour.It was a four-day display of both power and precision, as Watson led the field in both Driving Distance (316.6 yards) and Greens In Regulation (81.94 percent), making seven birdies, one eagle and just one bogey over his last 20 holes in sunny San Diego."What (the New Pro V1x has) been doing for me is a little bit higher ball flight... the same distance and same spin," Watson, 32, said earlier in the season. "I want it to go higher, you want it to be softer on the greens with these new grooves and the way it's been landing on these firm greens it's been able to stop a little quicker."
Watson was one of 102 players that trusted Titleist golf balls at Torrey Pines, more than six times the nearest competitor with 15 and more than all other competitors combined.
He was also one of 43 players that relied upon New Pro V1 or New Pro V1x golf balls, which will begin shipping to golf shops worldwide in February. The New Pro V1 and New Pro V1x golf balls were unveiled Thursday morning on the other side of the country at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla.

Team Titleist caught up with Titleist Brand Ambassador Ben Crane Thursday afternoon after the first round of the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, where he answered questions submitted recently from Team Titleist members on the discussion boards.
Crane covered everything from his new Titleist 910 driver to his popular "snakeshaker" workout, made famous by the YouTube hit "Ben's Workout Routine."
Check out Ben's answers in the videos below.

Jim T. asks: You are known
as a pretty good putter, what putting drills do you work on the most?
Andrew A. asks: What do you actually do to workout/stay in shape? Or do you really use the "snakeshaker" in your workout?
asks: How has the new 910 driver changed your game? I just ordered one, and couldn't be more excited. If it can help a
Tour Pro, I'm sure it'll help a twilight/weekend warrior like myself.
Travis O. asks: What's your favorite Portland, OR course? Can we play together next time you're in town?
Steve B. asks: I would like to know what is your favorite club in your bag and why?

Titleist Brand Ambassador Ben Crane teed off Thursday morning at Torrey Pines as the defending champion of this week's Farmers Insurance Open, following a busy few days of tournament appearances, media requests and practice sessions at both Torrey Pines and Titleist's Oceanside Test Facility. On Tuesday afternoon, Crane also hosted the Pro Kids/First Tee of San Diego Junior Golf Clinic on the fourth tee of Torrey Pines' North Course, where he hung out for over an hour with about 120 children from the Boys and Girls Club, YMCA and Pro Kids Golf Academy, sharing valuable lessons he has learned both on and off the course.
Crane called it a "humbling and enriching" experience.Pro Kids was founded in 1994 and partnered the same year with the City of San Diego and the San Diego Unified School District to use Colina Park Golf Course as an outdoor classroom to teach life-skills and golf to inner-city youth. In 1997, Pro Kids was used as a model for The First Tee and became The First Tee of San Diego.Check out the video below to watch some scenes from the end of Tuesday's clinic.
