Scotty Cameron Sweepstakes: Enter to Win the First H-2011 Jet Setter Made!**

Posted: November 21, 2011

**UPDATE: Sorry, this sweepstakes is now closed. Thanks everyone for entering! We will be announcing the winner shortly.

Here's a putting tip: Fly over to ScottyCameron.com as soon as possible.

For the first time in history, Scotty Cameron is giving away a Special Release putter on his website. Even cooler, this H-2011 Jet Setter (pictured above) is the first one ever made. Scotty will stamp it as such and send it to the lucky winner.

When creating this year’s Jet Setter, Scotty had mystery and intrigue on his mind. Fast toys and streaking jets across the midnight sky. This concept Newport 2 Notchback in a stealthy Tour black finish with hits of translucent red proves that finish and form play right into fit and function. This is a holiday putter with looks, performance and attitude built in.

A sculpted beauty from its topline down, the Jet Setter is milled from a solid block
of 303 stainless steel. Accessorized with Scotty’s new Pistolero grip, specialty Jet Setter headcover, and 7 Point Crown PinFlag shaft band, the H-2011 Jet Setter is the utmost in refinement and performance offered in a very limited quantity.

Hee Young Park Trusts Pro V1 to First LPGA Title in Season Finale

Posted: November 21, 2011

Relying on a Pro V1 golf ball and a season's worth of consistency, Hee Young Park captured the LPGA's season-ending CME Group Titleholders event.

Park, who had made 18 of 20 cuts heading into the week in Orlando, Fla., closed in 2-under 69 at Grand Cypress Resort for a 9-under 279 total and two-shot victory, the first of her LPGA career.

Park's win highlighted a week of breakthrough performances for Titleist golf ball players around the world, including victories by Titleist Brand Ambassador Joost Luiten (Asian/European Tour) and Pro V1x loyalist Adam Crawford (Australasian Tour), as well as the United States Presidents Cup team.

Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x players have now combined for 168 victories across the worldwide professional tours in 2011, more than six times the nearest competitor with 26 and more than all competitors combined.

A total of 20,860 players have teed up Titleist golf balls in those same events, more than six times the nearest competitor with 3,337 and more than all other golf balls combined.

A six-time winner on the Korean LPGA, Park got off to a prodigious start Sunday, making three birdies during a four-hole stretch from Nos. 5-8.

She closed things out with 10 consecutive pars and a steady short game in conditions that demanded everyone's utmost attention.

“It was difficult on the greens with tough pin positions today,” said Park, who shot rounds of 71-69-69-70. “I felt the pressure. I tried hard. I always felt I could win, so today I know that dreams come true.”

Park was one of 41 players in the elite field that trusted Titleist golf balls, more than eight times the nearest competitor with five and more than all competitors combined.

Of the 23 LPGA events played in 2011, 15 of them were won by Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x players. Pro V1x loyalist Yani Tseng was responsible for seven of those victories, including two major championships. She captured the LPGA money title with nearly $3 million in earnings.

• EUROPEAN/ASIAN TOUR: Titleist Brand Ambassador Joost Luiten (Pro V1) played a pair of flawless rounds on his way to winning the Iskandar Johor Open for his first-career European and Asian Tour victory.

Trusting a Pro V1 golf ball and bag of Titleist equipment, Luiten closed with a bogey-free 6-under 65 to finish at 15-under 198, one shot clear of Pro V1x loyalist Daniel Chopra.

In Round 1, Luiten birdied his final four holes of the day to open with an 8-under 63. Over the tournament's 54 holes, Luiten made 19 birdies, two bogeys and a double-bogey.

“I don’t believe it yet,” said Luiten, 25. “I think when you’re in position to win you always have some nerves, but I think that’s normal.

Three players, including Padraig Harrington (Pro V1x) and Rhys Davies (Pro V1), tied for third place, another shot back.

A total of 101 players in the field teed up Titleist golf balls, more than four times the nearest competitor with 23 and more than all competitors combined.

The event was reduced to three rounds because of heavy rain over several days in Malaysia.

• AUSTRALASIAN: Pro V1x loyalist Adam Crawford earned his first Australasian Tour win Sunday at the NSW Open Championship, closing with a 1-under 69 for a one-shot victory at Newcastle Golf Club in Rockhampton.

Crawford's 6-under 274 victory total topped a leader board that included seven Titleist golf ball loyalists among the top 11.

“I thought getting into a playoff would be great," said Crawford, "But to win is just awesome."

• PGA Tour: The United States triumphed at the 2011 Presidents Cup at Royal Melbourne in Australia, defeating the International team 19-15.

Eleven players in the event relied on Titleist golf balls for their success, including seven Titleist Brand Ambassadors: Steve Stricker (Pro V1x), Webb Simpson (Pro V1x), Nick Watney (Pro V1x), Bill Haas (Pro V1x), Adam Scott (Pro V1), Kyung-Tae Kim (Pro V1x) and Geoff Ogilvy (Pro V1).

Bubba Watson (Pro V1x), Hunter Mahan (Pro V1x), K.J. Choi (Pro V1x) and Aaron Baddeley (Pro V1x) also played Titleist golf balls.

• EUROPEAN/SOUTH AFRICAN: Titleist was the overwhelming golf ball of choice at the Alfred Dunhill Championship with 112 players, more than seven times the nearest competitor with 15.

• JAPAN:  Titleist was the No. 1 golf ball of choice at the Dunlop Phoenix with 31 players trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball.  Titleist was also first in hybrids (27); and sand, lob and approach wedges (58).

• CHINA: At the Chongqing event, 99 players played Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls, nearly 10 times the nearest competitor with 10 and more than all other golf balls combined.

Team Titleist Trivia (Webcast Update Edition): Win a Limited Edition Team Titleist Hat for You and a Friend**

Posted: November 18, 2011

Needless to say, we were pretty disappointed when our webcast provider had a system-wide outage this afternoon that ultimately, and unfortunately, caused us to postpone our planned webcast with the golf club R&D team.

Rest assured we will be doing everything we can to prevent this from happening again in the future but this temporary setback will not stop Team Titleist from adding a little fun to the end of the work week.

So while the webcast stream may have gone down, we're giving you a chance to win two Limited Edition Team Titleist hats (pictured below) – one for you and one for a friend - in our latest edition of Team Titleist Trivia.

QUESTION: Which Titleist Brand Ambassador led the PGA Tour this season in Scrambling (the percent of time a player misses the green in regulation, but still makes par or better)?  (Hint: you might want to check out a recent tip that was posted on the Team Titleist blog.)

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: To enter the contest, log in to your Team Titleist account and then leave a comment on this blog post with the correct answer to the question by Tuesday, November 22, at 2 p.m. EST.

Five (5) winners will receive two (2) Limited Editions Team Titleist hats, one to wear and one to give to a friend.

Note: You must be a Team Titleist member to enter. Only one entry per person. We will randomly draw the winners from all approved entries with the correct answer.

(Sorry, U.S. only. Here's some more info: Why is this Titleist sweepstakes U.S. only?)

Again, our apologies for any inconvenience around the rescheduling of the webcast and we promise to send you an update as soon as a new date is on the books.
