Playing late Sunday afternoon at Augusta National Golf Club is a feat in itself. Nevermind making two eagles in three holes on the back nine to climb up the Masters leaderboard.
Titleist Brand Ambassador Bo Van Pelt did both."It was a dream come true," he said.During the final round at this year's Masters, Bo eagled both par-5s on the back nine, Nos. 13 and 15, setting off a couple of those loud-and-famous Sunday roars. What he'll remember most from that stretch is the second shot into the 15th green. After a long drive down the right side of the fairway, Bo pulled his Titleist MB 6-iron from the bag. He knew he had to hit it perfect to fly the pond in front of the green. His Pro V1 golf ball launched high and landed soft, stopping 4 feet from the pin. The patrons erupted.Bo called it his Shot of the Year. See how Bo described the moment in the above video.*
What was your Shot of the Year? Be sure to head over to the Team Titleist discussion boards and let us know.*Note: Video was filmed before Bo's victory at the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic.
I'll never forget those shots. He played them very well and at Augusta National, that makes it special.
