I'm a 69yr. old and have played golf for about 45 years. My index is 11.9 and I have been between a 9 to12 index for the past 30 years.

I have a fairly slow swing speed (driver 85mph) and my average drive is about 200yds. I club my irons (+ or - 8 to 10 yards) off my 5 iron which I usually hit 145yds. under normal conditions.

I currently play Wilson Ci7 irons with graphite shafts that were custom fit for me.

I really like the looks (thinner top line similar to my Ci7's) of the AP1 irons but have concerns that they may not be forgiving enough for my type of game (slow swing speed).

Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Fred L

I am 74 and carry a 14 handicap , my current shafts are Rifle light weight and I don't care to go into grafite shafts , what can you offer me.

I am a low handicap player (current index 3.7).  I still play the Titleist DCI 962 irons. (I know they are old)  This off-season I am looking to buy new irons and they will definitely be Titleist.  I am wondering which of the new irons would be most suitable for me.  I would love to finally be playing forged irons but I am not sure if I am ready for a traditional blade.  I am looking for the best performance possible.  Any advice or suggestions that you have would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you so much!

I faithfully buy new Titleist irons every two years with each series offering. Having bought two sets of 710mb's, i am curious what, if any, advances or different qualities i would get by moving to the 712mb's? Are the differences that noticable?

Thank you

MICHAEL S

What is the difference between the 712MB and the 710MB

I do fine with distance, but direction is usually my problem (inconsistent, right and left of target).

Which product would best help me?

The only consistent criticism that I have ever heard about the AP-1 is that cosmetically the finish was easily marked up. Is this a valid criticism and has it been addressed in the AP-1 712.

How do the 712 Steel shafts differ from the 710's.

Ronan C

What performance differences can i expect from the 712mb's verses the 710mb's? Other than turf interaction, will there be a noticable difference in ball flight?
