How much performance gain is available to the sub 10 handicapper who installs properly fitted, higher performance steel shafts such as Ricfe or Project X in the rions?

Can you please tell what is the best shaft for the AP2 irons, my club guy here in San Antonio, TX says that all your tour guys are using KBS Tour CC Tapered shafts in there irons, do you guys offer these shafts and is there a real big up charge and I want to know if it really true that your tour players are using this shaft??? I play 4 Titleist wedges, vokey/spin-mill. What new 712 irons play most like these wedges? Thanks

I build my own drivers and I have tried many different shafts. My club head speed is about 90-95 mph. Using the same head I get the longest distance with a shaft torque of 2.8 and most club manufacturers reccomend a much higher torque. What is the real relationship between the lower and higher torque shafts when it comes to distance if all the shafts are regular flex with a mid bend point.

What driver would you suggest for a 75 year old man with a slow swing speed and high handicap?
Jack M wrote on November 17, 2011 at 3:15PM
Why the increase in price? Especially on the CB and MB models which are supposedly mostly unchanged due to such positive tour feedback on the 710 series.
Nathan P wrote on November 17, 2011 at 3:18PM
Can you mix the MBs and CBs to make the exact Titleist set you want?

IF YOU ARE USEDTO USING S300 TT STIFF SHAFTS AND ARE A SENIOR WHO IS LOOKING TO UPGRADE OR CHANGE SHAFTS TO A LIGHTER SHAFT BUT WITH THE SAME SHAFT PERFORMANCE WHICH DO YOU SUGGEST AND WHICH CLUB WILL REPLACE YOUR 735 FORGED IRONS?

Why aren't the AP1 irons made out of forged steel like the AP2? I like the feel and look of both the AP1 and AP2 however because the AP2 were forged I purchased the clubs. I would think there are more like me that would like to see a total forged set of clubs from Titleist, just sayin.

My coach is Titleist staff member and TPI certified. He suggests ap1 for me as 3 hdcp. I love the look and feel of new MB but trust his judgement as well. If I custom order more traditional lofts in ap1 do I "reverse" some of the design benefits in the club? Thanks, CJ
