Team Titleist members sent in many interesting equipment questions this week for our Titleist Tour Reps at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, several of them focused on golf club shafts and proper shaft fitting.Titleist Tour Rep Chris Tuten kindly took some time earlier this week on the range at Dove Mountain to lend us his expertise...Cris M asks: What are some of your determining factors in choosing one
shaft over another? The more I read, the more they seem all the same.
Getting dazed and confused on how to find the best fit for me.
Ted D. asks: I'd like a new 910D2 driver. I now swing a Adila NV65 stiff shaft. All the Titleist stiff shafts at local pro shop seems to have more flex. What shaft do you recommend?
Kyle G asks: Are a lot of guys out on tour using "hard
stepped" or "soft stepped" shafts? Hearing a lot about it these days,
just wondering what the guys out there do.
i just watched the video on hard stepping/soft stepping. The gentelmen states that hard stepping is putting the 3 iron shaft in a 4 iron head . Isnt that soft stepping? That is what True Temper, KBS and Project X web sites states along with golfworks
