This week Team Titleist heads north of the border for the RBC Canadian Open. The event is being contested at Hamilton Golf & Country Club in Ancaster, Ontario, for the first time since 2006 and fifth time overall.
The RBC is a "fifth major" for the many Canadian players in the field, including Pro V1 loyalists Matt McQuillan and Mike Weir, as well as Pro V1x loyalists David Hearn and Titleist Brand Ambassador Graham Delaet (pictured below).
"The Canadian Open is special to me. It's my national championship, or our national championship," Graham said earlier this week. "And it's one that I mark on the calendar at the start of the year that I'm always excited about.
"I appreciate all the support in Canada, and I know I've got a lot of fans and people cheering for me. I'm looking forward to the week."
In total, 103 players in the field are trusting Titleist golf balls for their success, more than six times the nearest competitor with 15 and more than all other golf balls combined. Titleist is also first in iron sets (39); sand, lob and approach wedges (140); and putters (60).
