Connect with the Experts at the 2012 World Golf Fitness Summit

Golf specific health and fitness is a crucial element in helping top professionals and amateurs of all skill levels achieve their goals out on the course. One of many examples is 2012 U.S. Open champion Webb Simpson.
"In 2010 I noticed that 18 out of the top 20 players in the world had a full-time workout program. And I wasn't doing anything. I'm sitting there thinking, 'these are the best players in the world and they're doing this, and I'm not. So, let's give it a try.' And the results I saw were pretty immediate," Simpson told pgatour.com.
"I started hitting it further, I started feeling better, I started having more energy. And then my golf results on the course proved it."
Since its inception in 2003, the Titleist Performance Institute, under the direction of co-founders Dr. Greg Rose and Dave Phillips, has grown to be an authority on fitness in the game of golf.
In an effort to shine the spotlight on the idea that a healthy, functional body is a key part of a good golf game, Dr. Rose and Phillips launched the World Golf Fitness Summit – a biennial summit dedicated to bringing together the foremost experts in golf fitness, health and medicine.
The 2012 World Golf Fitness Summit, which takes place Oct. 11-13 in Orlando, Fla., features an impressive roster of speakers including Ben Shear – a TPI Certified Golf Fitness Instructor with a client list that includes Webb Simpson, Luke Donald and Kyle Stanley.
In addition to Shear, the following golf fitness experts will also present at this year's fitness summit: Andrew Fischer (Bubba Watson’s fitness coach), Simon Webb (Aaron Baddely's fitness coach), Randy Myers (Sea Island Golf Learning Center, fitness coach of the 2012 team USA Ryder Cup team), Chris Noss (Rickie Fowler's fitness coach), Mark Blackburn (Heath Slocum), Claude Harmon III, Chuck Cook (Jason Dufner), Henry Brunton (Royal Canadian Golf Association's National Golf Coach), Mike Malaska (2012 PGA Teacher of the Year), Martin Hall (2008 PGA Teacher of the Year) along with Pia Nilsson and Lynn Marriott (Golf Digest #1, #2 ranked Women Teacher in America in 2012).
The 2012 World Golf Fitness Summit is the place to spend time with all these individuals and more experts that continue to further the performance of the world's best players.
