It was another weekend of strong play across the worldwide professional tours that culminated with a pair of wins for Pro V1 loyalists Mark Wiebe (The Senior Open Championship) and Michael Hoey (M2M Russian Open).

As the play came to a close and the final tallies were recorded this weekend, a combined 13,724 players have trusted their games to a Titleist golf ball on the worldwide professional tours in 2013, nearly seven times the nearest competitor with 2,045 and more than all other competitors combined.

On the Champions Tour at Royal Birkdale, Wiebe closed with a 4-under 66 on Sunday to match fellow Pro V1 loyalist Bernhard Langer at 9-under 271 and force a playoff that concluded earlier this morning. On the fifth playoff hole, Wiebe was able to secure his first major title on the Champions Tour.

Meanwhile, Hoey carded a 7-under 65 on Saturday to cap off a moving-day charge that put him in prime position for the final round at the M2M Russian Open. With steady play on Sunday, Hoey earned a four shot victory to secure his fifth career European Tour title.

What’s in Michael Hoey’s Bag:  Titleist Pro V1 golf ball, 913D3 (8.5º) driver, 913F (13.5º) fairway metal, 712U 2, 3 and 4 irons, AP2 irons (5-PW), Vokey Design SM4 sand (54º) and lob (58º) wedges.

The best players in the world have spent the summer competing in national open championships, and this week is Canada's turn as the Glen Abbey Golf Club plays host to the PGA Tour's RBC Canadian Open.

This year's tournament marks the 26th occasion the Canadian Open has been played at Glen Abbey, which is in pristine condition for the players this week to shoot low scores. At stake for these players is one of the few remaining chances in 2013 to enter the winner's circle, add to their season FedExCup Playoff point total and earn a berth to the PGA Championship in two weeks.

With so much in the balance, 98 players in the field are trusting a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success this week, nearly five times the nearest competitor with 20 players, and more than all competitors combined.

Titleist is also the top choice in the sand, lob and approach wedge (142) and putter (52) categories.

So join us, and check out what players like Titleist Brand Ambassadors Graham DeLaet, Scott Stallings, Cameron Tringale, Greg Chalmers, Bud Cauley and Pro V1 Loyalists Bubba Watson and John Huh were up to before they teed off on Thursday.

Enjoy the weekend and play well #TeamTitleist

When we find ourselves in a greenside bunker, it's often at a time we most need to get up up and down for par to keep the round going in the right direction. And sometimes the thought of hitting a bunker shot can cause a million thoughts in our heads, which only complicates the matter.

So, let's turn to an expert to simplify things.

Titleist Pro V1x golf ball loyalist Luke Donald has a long-standing reputation for his short game, particularly his bunker play. Luke's strategy focuses in on his ball position and the shaft angle at setup so the bounce of his wedge helps lob his Pro V1x accurately toward the pin with touch.

Before a Titleist golf ball ever lands on the shelves of your local pro shop, it must gain approval from a very important group of passionate golfers – members of Team Titleist.

Not too long ago, when the new 2013 Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls were still in the Research & Development phase, we invited a group of Team Titleist members to test white box prototype golf balls, give feedback, and truly take part in the R&D process for the #1 ball in golf.

As part of the player testing and evaluation process, we hit the road and spent some time with members from across the country to answer questions, gather feedback and witness the testing first-hand.

Each stop along the way we met golfers of all skill levels and swing speeds. So check out the video above to see some of the sights and sounds we captured from your fellow Team Titleist members and remember to keep sharing your feedback!

In the meantime, thank you to all of the Team Titleist members who participated in our white box testing. Whether you were on camera or submitted feedback via e-mail, Twitter or otherwise, we really appreciate all of your help and we hope you enjoyed being a part of the process.

And if you’re wondering how you can take part in a future product test panel like this, remember the more you participate and the more engaged you are with Team Titleist--from posting in the discussions and adding blog comments to completing your profile--the better your chances are at potentially opening the doors to these exclusive Team Titleist opportunities.
