Video: Scotty Cameron Shares Some Keys to Success on the Greens at the Masters

Posted: April 9, 2014

As players make their final preparations at the 2014 Masters, there's a good chance that a majority of their practice time will be spent on and around the greens at Augusta National.

More often than not, the green jacket will be won by the player who performs best on these beautiful yet challenging surfaces.  So we decided to go straight to the source for some keys to successful putting…

Master craftsman Scotty Cameron, a man who has worked closely with a number of Masters champions, sat down with Team Titleist and shared some of his thoughts on how to navigate the greens this week.

And as Scotty told us, players will have to do their homework to understand how different putting really is at Augusta National. Another key according to Scotty...

“Finding a putter you know and you trust and have a relationship with."

Check out the video above to hear what else Scotty has to say and see how his advice might help you with your own putting game.

Good advice, but also good common sense when it comes to Augusta National and The Masters.  Have been there many times and its all about the greens and correct placement.

Great view into the course and how to try and manage it.  Knowing where to land you ball will be key to winning this week.

Great clip and insight from Scotty.

If anyone knows putting, it's the man who makes the best putters in the world.  Great and practical insight to the world's toughest greens.  Thanks Scotty!!
