The PGA Tour’s first major championship of the season is underway and Titleist golf ball players are leading the way.  Despite excellent scoring conditions on Thursday, Augusta National proved to be as challenging as ever, surrendering only four sub-70 scores in the opening round.  The common thread?  These four players all trusted a Titleist golf ball.

Titleist Brand Ambassador Bill Haas trusted his Pro V1x golf ball to seize the overnight lead with a stellar 4-under 68.  He was followed by Titleist Brand Ambassador Adam Scott, who relied on his Pro V1 golf ball to fire a 3-under 69 in his opening round as defending champion.  Adam was joined at 3-under by 2012 Masters Champion Bubba Watson and Louis Oosthuizen, both of whom relied on a TItleist Pro V1x golf ball.

This week, Titleist is the once again #1 ball at the Masters with more players placing their trust in a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball than all other competitors combined.

The second round is now underway as players have refocused on the first order of business at Augusta - surviving the cut.

As they do, check out the gallery above to view some images from earlier this week as Titleist Brand Ambassadors and golf ball loyalists prepared for their bids to earn the green jacket.

Good luck to all the players this weekend!
