The #1 Ball in golf at the John Deere Classic
Posted: July 11, 2014
The PGA Tour heads to the Midwest this week for the John Deere Classic in Silvis, Illinois for the last stop before the season's next major - The Open Championship. Players will be looking to go low at TPC Deere Run and get their games into peak condition on the 7,258-yard layout.
And when it comes to shooting low scores, Titleist is the overwhelming golf ball of choice with 104 players in the field trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success. That’s more than six times the nearest competitor with 17 and more than all competitors combined.
Titleist was also the top choice among players in the sand, lob and approach wedge (151) and putter (59) categories.
Fast Fact: Titleist Brand Ambassador's have claimed victory at the John Deere Classic every year since 2009. Steve Stricker (2009-2011), Zach Johnson (2012) and Jordan Spieth (2013).
