Titleist Brand Ambassador Tim Clark rallied to win the RBC Canadian Open by one shot after birdieing five of his last eight holes. It marked the second career PGA TOUR title for Clark, who fired four consecutive rounds in the 60’s, including a closing 5-under par 65.
On the Champions Tour, Pro V1 golf ball loyalist Bernhard Langer won his second Senior Open Championship, finishing a record 13 strokes clear of his nearest competitor. Langer's 13-shot win is the largest margin of victory in a senior major, topping the previous mark of 12 shots established at the Senior PGA Championship in 1997.
To round out the week, Titleist Brand Ambassador Jean Hugo captured the Vodacom Origins of Golf - Arabella tournament for his 16th career Sunshine Tour title.
With three more wins this week, Titleist’s year-to-date victory count advances to 101. That's more than four times the nearest competitor with 23 and more than all competitors combined.
In total, 14,409 players have teed up Titleist golf balls in competition on the 2014 worldwide professional tours, more than six times the nearest competitor with 2,310 and more than all competitors combined.
