Ormsby, Davis, Han and Lee Combine for Four Pro V1x Wins

On golf's biggest stages, the winning ways continue for Titleist, as Titleist Brand Ambassadors and golf ball loyalists combined for four more victories across the worldwide professional tours. Titleist golf ball players have now recorded 201 victories across the worldwide professional tours, more than seven times the nearest competitor with 28.

To date this season, the game's finest players have relied on a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball 25,993 times, nearly seven times the nearest competitor with 3,820 and more than all competitors combined.

At the 2017-18 European Tour season-opener, Titleist Brand Ambassador Wade Ormsby (Pro V1x) prevailed on a dramatic final day to claim his first career European Tour title at the UBS Hong Kong Open. Ormsby closed with a 2-under-par 68 en route to an 11-under-par 269 total, one shot clear of fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Rafa Cabrera Bello (Pro V1x) and Titleist golf ball loyalists Paul Peterson (Pro V1x) and Julian Suri (Pro V1x).

Race to Dubai champion Tommy Fleetwood (Pro V1x), finished solo 6th in defense of his title, as each of the top six finishers relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success.

Nearly three out of every four players in the field (96) relied upon a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success, more than five times the nearest competitor (17).*

In Australia, Titleist golf ball loyalist Cameron Davis (Pro V1x) captured the Emirates Australian Open for his first career win. The 22-year-old’s victory came at The Australian Golf Club layout where he won the Australian Amateur title in 2015.

Davis, who opened with an 8-under-par 63 and closed with a 7-under 64, finished one shot clear of fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Matt Jones (Pro V1x) and Titleist golf ball loyalist Jonas Blixt (Pro V1x). Davis, Jones and Blixt each secured their spots in the 2018 Open Championship with their performances in this qualifying event.

Titleist Brand Ambassador Cameron Smith (Pro V1x) finished another shot back in solo 4th place, as each of the top four finishers relied upon Titleist golf balls, with three of them relying on Titleist golf clubs as well.

Titleist Brand Ambassador Jordan Spieth (Pro V1x), playing in his first event since the Presidents Cup, closed with a 4-under-par 67 to finish solo 8th. Spieth had new 718 AP2 irons and Vokey Design SM7 prototype wedges in the bag for the first time in competition.

Titleist was the most played golf ball at the Australian Open with more than 4 out of 5 players (128) teeing up a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, nearly 13 times the nearest competitor with 10.

Nine of the 11 players who finished among the top 10 and ties trusted Titleist golf balls for their success.

Titleist also topped the count in drivers (59) and irons (83) at the event.

In Japan, Titleist golf ball loyalist Seung-Su Han (Pro V1x) posted a 65-66 on the weekend in a come-from-behind, one-shot victory at the Casio World Open. He finished with a 13-under-par 275 victory total. It marked the first career crown for Han in his three years on the JGTO.

Titleist Brand Ambassador K.T. Kim (Pro V1x) was among four players who tied for 2nd.

Titleist was the top choice in golf balls with 56, more than all other golf balls combined.

And finally, Titleist golf ball loyalist Kevin Lee (Pro V1x) closed with a 1-under-par 71 en route to a 12-under-par 276 victory total, claiming his first win at the China Tour’s season-ending event, the Jiangnan NewTown KingRun Open.

Titleist Brand Ambassador Zihan She (Pro V1x) and Pro V1 golf ball loyalist Shotaro Ban tied for 2nd, one shot back.

Titleist was the overwhelming top choice in golf balls with more than 3 out of every 4 players (82) trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x, nearly seven times the nearest competitor with 12.

Nine of the top 11 players who finished among the top 10 and ties relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success.
