The opening round of the 2011 Titleist & FootJoy Club Pro Championship kicked off today at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie Fl.

The event boasts the top Club Professionals from across Canada who are competing on the challenging Ryder Course this week. Designed by Tom Fazio, the Ryder Course is named in honor of Samuel Ryder, the namesake and founder of the Ryder Cup.  Players will be faced with a Carolina style course full of rolling hills and a multitude of possible pin locations.  Each round will have it's own set of challenges...especially as the weather changes by the hour and players are faced with somewhat unpredictable conditions.
