A small group of Team Titleist Canada Members in the Greater Toronto Area were recently invited to The Titleist National Fitting Centre at Eagles Nest Golf Course to test out the NEW 913 Prototype Drivers, Fairway Metals and Hybrids.  It was a sunny, yet brisk morning where Team Titleist Members got the chance to learn about the new 913 Prototype Metals, test them out, and then of course get fit by our Titleist Fitting Experts.

Titleist Fitting Experts, Chad Cole and Chris Welton were at the helm using both their expertise and state of the art equipment to optimize each members performance with the clubs.  After hitting the NEW 913 Prototype product, Team Titleist Members weren't surprised to learn that the 913 Drivers have won 15 times worldwide on the PGA, European PGA, Web.com, Japan, Korean, OneAsia and Australasian Tours.

This week the PGA Tour's Fall Series continues with the Frys.com Open. Defending champion and Titleist Brand Ambassador Bryce Molder will trust a Pro V1x golf ball and a bag full of Titleist equipment as he attempts to go back-to-back at CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin, Calif.

Team Titleist was on the range with players earlier this week as they prepared their games for another chance to move up the money list and secure a PGA Tour card for the 2013 season.

In total, 89 players in the 132-player field are trusting Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls for their success, more than seven times the nearest competitor with 12 and more than all other golf balls combined. This includes 21 players who will be teeing up the new Pro V1 (3) and Pro V1x (18) prototype golf balls that were introduced on tour last week in Vegas.

Titleist is also first in the sand, lob and approach wedges (103) and putter (51) categories.

Check out the slideshow above for a closer look at some of the action from earlier in the week.

The Fall Series is here for the PGA Tour, and that means it's time to hit the Las Vegas Strip for the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

In total, 85 players in the 132-player field are trusting Titleist golf balls for their success, more than five times the nearest competitor with 15 and more than all other golf balls combined. Titleist is also first in sand, lob and approach wedges (98) and putters (50).

Defending Champion and Titleist Brand Ambassador Kevin Na is just one of the players who were greeted by Titleist Golf Ball R&D and Leadership Staff with white boxes full of new Pro V1 and Pro V1x prototype golf balls, marking the start of the tour seeding and performance validation process on the PGA Tour. We caught up with the R&D team along with a few players earlier in the week for a closer look at the process - check out the video here.

The first Titleist Pro V1 golf ball debuted 12 years ago at the Invensys Classic in Las Vegas and the eventual champion of the tournament trusted the revolutionary golf ball to find the winners' circle.

The PGA Tour has returned to Las Vegas, the city famous for all its bells and whistles. On the range this week at TPC Summerlin, however, it's a delivery of plain white golf ball boxes that will have all our Titleist tour pros talking.

Care to guess what's inside?

Still thinking?

Enough of the build up, we’ll let you in on the scoop: This week marks the beginning of the tour seeding and performance validation process for the new Pro V1 and Pro V1x prototype golf balls on the worldwide professional tours.

After months of extensive player testing, Fordie Pitts and Jeff Beyers from the Titleist Golf Ball R&D team will be on site, with white boxes under their arms, ready to help players continue the testing and fitting process.

It's an exciting time at Titleist, as performance validation from the best players in the world is one of the final checkpoints along the way to launching a new product in the market.

Fast Fact: It was around this time 12 years ago that the first Titleist Pro V1 golf ball debuted in Las Vegas. Since then, nearly 235,000 players have teed up Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls in competition across the worldwide professional tours, as compared to just under 45,000 for the nearest competitor.

Stay tuned to Team Titleist as we will continue to provide you with more details and inside-the-ropes updates as the tour seeding and performance validation process continues.
