The competition on the PGA Tour heats up just outside Washington, DC, this week at Congressional Country Club.
A historically long and difficult course, which has hosted three U.S. Open championships and a PGA Championship, Congressional's Blue Course is a must-play track for many of the best players in the world. The field will look to build momentum this week, with the final two majors and homestretch of the 2013 season quickly approaching.
Among a pairings sheet deep with talent, 85 players in the field will trust a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success, more than five times the nearest competitor with 16 and more than all competitors combined.
Titleist is also the top choice in the sand, lob and approach wedge (133), and putter (51) categories.
From the Titleist Tour Van to the iconic Capitol Building tee markers and around the magnificently manicured grounds of Congressional, Team Titleist captured many of the moments earlier in the week when players like Titleist Brand Ambassador Adam Scott and Pro V1x loyalist Billy Horschel were polishing their swings and dialing in the performance of their Titleist golf ball.
Check out the video to see what Titleist Brand Ambassadors Bud Cauley, Marc Leishman, John Merrick, Ben Kohles, Jason Bohn, Brendan Steele, Erik Compton and many more were up to this week at the AT&T National.

Team Titleist is heading to our nation's capital this week to bring you all of the action from the AT&T National at Congressional Country Club.
And as we get ready to head out to the range tomorrow morning, we'll be joining our Tour Reps and a few Golf Club R&D team members to capture the beginning of the tour seeding and performance validation process for the new prototype Titleist MB, CB, AP2 and AP1 irons (714 Series).
The Titleist tour department has built prototype sets for Titleist Brand Ambassadors to test and put in play as part of our development process. All Titleist golf clubs go through this critical step to validate their performance before being launched to market.

Summer is officially here on the PGA TOUR, and so is the Travelers Championship. Team Titleist made the short drive this week to Connecticut to check in with a large number of Titleist Brand Ambassadors and golf ball loyalists as they prepared for action.
The Travelers always draws top talent and this year is no different. Defending champion and Titleist Brand Ambassador Marc Leishman is joined at TPC River Highlands by many of the best players in the world. And among this talented group, 104 players in the field will trust a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success, more than six times the nearest competitor with 16 and more than all competitors combined.
Titleist also tied for first this week in iron sets (36), and is the top choice in the sand, lob and approach wedge (190), and putter (52) categories.
From the Titleist Tour Van to the practice range and around the course, Team Titleist captured many of the moments earlier in the week when players like Pro V1 loyalist Rickie Fowler and Pro V1x loyalist Angel Cabrera were grooving their swings and dialing in the performance of their Titleist golf ball.
Check out the video to see what Titleist Brand Ambassadors Jason Dufner, Zach Johnson, Ben Crane, Charley Hoffman, John Merrick, Ben Kohles, Brendon DeJonge, Graham DeLaet, and many more were up to this week at the Travelers.

It's been 32 years since the U.S. Open was last contested at Merion Golf Club's famed East Course. Designed by Hugh Wilson, Merion sits on a modest 120 acres outside of Philadelphia. The East Course will play a shade under 7,000 yards this week, diminutive by modern U.S. Open standards.
Merion will present a very difficult, but an infinitely fair test of golfing skill. And with precision at a premium, it's no surprise that 97 players are trusting their chances for a U.S. Open title to a Titleist golf ball, more than four times the nearest competitor with 23 and more than all other golf balls combined.
In fact, 2013 marks the 65th consecutive year that Titleist has been the #1 golf ball of choice at the U.S Open Championship. Titleist also tied for first in iron sets this week (37), and was an overwhelming favorite in the sand, lob and approach wedges category (159).For a look at some of the Titleist players and equipment in this week’s championship field, take a look at Team Titleist’s video from the practice rounds by clicking the video at the top of the post.

We all know there is a lot of hard work and preparation that goes into a player’s game as they get ready to tee it up at the U.S. Open.
To help provide an insider’s perspective, Team Titleist asked one of its resident experts, Dave Phillips (Co-Founder of the Titleist Performance Institute and Top 100 Instructor) to shed some light on the key shots that players will need to have in their bag this week.
And it just so happens that Merion is one of Dave’s favorite courses, so he was happy to share a few tips on how to manage tough lies out of the rough and how to find the short grass on narrow fairways.
Even though most of us won’t be teeing it up at the U.S. Open, we think these tips will translate well into our games and hopefully help save us all a few strokes the next time we find ourselves in a similar situation.
Watch the video above and make sure you stay tuned in to hear Dave’s pick for this week. Also, don’t forget to head over to the new MyTPI.com to check out their expansive library of drills and exercises to improve your game.
