DUFNER SHOWS NEW METAL: Titleist Brand Ambassador and 2013 PGA Championship winner Jason Dufner made a pair of significant equipment changes this week. Dufner came to Kapalua working with a 913D2 (9.5º) and after two practice rounds under the watchful eyes of Titleist Tour Reps Chris Tuten and Dave Southworth, Dufner green lighted the new driver which features the same Mitsubishi Diamana Ahina 60X shaft that he had in his previous model. Dufner, who isn't prone to change equipment very often, also secured a new Titleist 913F.d (13.5º) fairway metal (with a Mitsubishi Kurokage 70 shaft) that he put in the bag this week. On the greens, he is using a new Scotty Cameron Squareback Plus prototype putter for the first time in competition. Dufner is tied for 9th at the halfway point of the tournament.
