The PGA Tour heads to Cromwell, Connecticut this week where players look to tackle the 6,841 yards, par-70 TPC River Highlands layout. With its receptive greens and share of risk-reward holes, players will be looking to card some low scores.

And when it comes to going low, Titleist is the overwhelming golf ball of choice with 93 players in the field trusting a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success. That’s more than four times the nearest competitor with 19 and more than all competitors combined.

Titleist was also the top choice among players in the sand, lob and approach wedge (135) and putters (56) categories and shared first as the top choice in irons (36).

FAST FACT: The Travelers has a knack for providing exciting finishes on Tour. There have been 21 playoffs in Travelers Championship history, dating back to 1952 when the event was first contested as the Greater Hartford Open. That's more than one-third of the time.

Check out the video above for an inside-the-ropes look at the action from earlier this week as players readied themselves for quick starts at the Travelers Championship.

Good luck to all of #TeamTitleist this weekend!

The 2014 U.S. Women’s Open is underway at Pinehurst No. 2 and as the field looks to navigate the sandy terrain of this major championship, focus and determination will be required for any player aiming to top the leaderboard.

And once again, Titleist is the #1 ball at the U.S. Women’s Open with 103 players in the field trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success. That’s more than eight times the nearest competitor with 12 and more than all competitors combined.

Team Titleist was on site earlier in the week to catch all of the practice round action, so check out the slideshow above to join us for a little walk inside the ropes.

Good luck to all of #TeamTitleist this weekend!

Last week at Pinehurst No. 2, Titleist Brand Ambassador Erik Compton capped an extraordinary performance in his first U.S Open competition by converting a remarkable up-and-down for par on the 72nd hole to share runner-up honors with fellow Pro V1x loyalist Rickie Fowler.

Team Titleist caught up with Erik at this week's Travelers Championship where he answered a few questions on his experience at Pinehurst, what it's like being a Titleist Brand Ambassador, his affiliation with the Donate Life organization and his goals as he looks ahead to the second half of the 2014 season.

Check out the video above to hear what Erik had to say in this exclusive interview.
