This may have been asked in previous post so I do apologize in advance if so.

How does titleist tip 913H/HD shafts (stock form) before being installed into the adaptor sleeve?

I've heard that there's no tipping for all diamana shafts before install into any loft of H/HD and possibly some tipping (0.5") on all other shafts, whether it's the RIP Phenom or the other 'exotic' shafts.

I was just told by the US club building department (as they were building my 913Hd) that the standard tipping for hybrids is 1''.

The shaft ordered for me is a D+102X... my guess is that it is their way of installing all shafts as the 102X is realy stotu from the start.
