Time to go! After a busy few days at East London GC, Tour Rep Justin Jordaan helps tape the boxes.11/11

This was our second event in South Africa coming off the back of the Desert Swing in Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Dubai.

The host this week is the East London Golf Club on the Eastern Cape and the event is traditionally an opportunity for some of the Tour School and Challenge Tour graduates to get their season off to a strong start.

At only 6,632 yards and playing to a par of 72, this is one of the shorter stops on the European Tour - making the short game and putting the key to low scores.

And the course must be amongst the oldest visited by the European Tour, opened in 1893.

The focus for the team this week has been continued promotion and seeding of the new 2013 Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls. And the players seem to be loving the performance of the new ball with 57 of the 115 players trusting a Titleist ball playing the 2013 Pro V1 or Pro V1x.

Titleist is the overwhelming ball of choice at the Africa Open with 115 players (74%), more than six times the nearest competitor with 18.

Stay tuned to Team Titleist for more inside-the-ropes insight next week.
