Austin Cook Trusts Pro V1 in First PGA Tour Victory

For the seventh straight week to start the new 2017-18 season, a Titleist golf ball loyalist has won on the PGA Tour. On Sunday Austin Cook (Pro V1) birdied three of his last four holes at Sea Island Resort to capture his first PGA Tour victory at the RSM Classic. Cook closed with a 3-under-par 67 to finish with a 21-under-par 261 victory total, four shots clear of his nearest competitor.

Cook follows follows Brendan Steele (Pro V1x - Safeway Open), Pat Perez (Pro V1 - CIMB Classic), Justin Thomas (Pro V1x - CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges), Ryan Armour (Pro V1x - Sanderson Farms Championship), Patrick Cantlay (Pro V1 x - Shriners Hospitals for Children Open) and Patton Kizzire (Pro V1x - OHL Classic at Mayakoba) into the Titleist Winners’ Circle.

With the victory, Cook also becomes the fourth consecutive winner to capture his maiden PGA Tour title this season.

The RSM Classic marks the eighth and final official event during the Fall run on the 2017-2018 PGA Tour schedule and the season will resume in January, at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Maui.

Congratulations, Austin!
