I have picked up a set of second hand Titleist 710 AP2 irons. I purchased them at a Golf Shop (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre in Aberdeen). The serial number on the ferrule of each club is 252499. The issue I am having is identifying the type of shafts as the previous owner removed the labels. The shop worker said he thought that they were DGS300, but I have checked the step pattern and it is not the same as a set of DGS300's I already own. I have pulled a grip from the PW, but there is nothing etched on the shaft. The distance from the top of the ferrule to the first step on the 6 iron is about 5.75 inches. Can you identify the shaft type and flex from the serial number at all? Grateful for any help.
