  1. Hello

I'd like to try custom fitting for my next set of irons. I have an advanced centre reasonably close to home but fitting is performed indoor. I know technology is pretty good but part of me wants to see the ball flight before parting with any cash. Am I worrying unnecessarily?

I guess at least indoor fitting gives me a chance to use my preferred ball rather than range balls!

    Hi Rob,

It is always preferential to get fitted in an environment that you can see ball flight, but launch monitor technology has definitely bridged the gap these days in helping the indoor fitting.  I have attached a link for all of our Surefit Accounts, so hopefully you can find a venue that will suit your requirements.

Rob, I recently went to the St Ives fitting centre. I would recommend it before you buy. I tried different combinations of heads, shafts, loft and lie. Great couple of hours spent and now have my clubs on order. Hitting balls off the mat was fine. Wedges were off the turf. Importantly found the right combination for my game. Stuart

  4. Out of interest how much does custom fitting cost at St Ives?  Is this info available online?

    Hi Rob,

In regards to getting custom fitted at one of our National Fitting Centres including St. Ives, there is a charge.  This charge is between your chosen retailer and yourself, so the easiest option is to speak to your retailer and they will let you know the cost.

    Hope this helps,

    Chris
