Lovely surprise, thank you so much. Tried the new NXT tour, good ball, seemed very similar to the old. However I am very impressed with the NXT tour s. Really good feeling off the driver, long and straight and very good around the green, great stopping power.I play the srixon soft feel a lot, purely because of the feel, but the NXT tour S takes it to a new level. I have been telling all my playing partners to invest in some of these. A real eye opener and the only ball I need from now on. Thanks again.

I received the velocity ball and was a 26 handicap I'm now a 22.8 ! Found the ball superb straight off the tee and my short game feels good can't wait for the better weather to push for a lower handicap along with my velocity golf balls !

Hi Neil, Thankyou for the Velocity and DT balls to try. I tried the Velocity and was very impressed the first time i used them....However, i thought i would give it a few more rounds before commenting. I love these Velocity balls, they are fantastic....For me anyway. They explode off the driver effortlessly with a sound that makes you feel like you have crushed it to death and taught it a lesson. The flight was far straighter and longer than anything I have used before, and have hit more fairways consistantly in the last 5 games than i ever have. Normally i struggle to keep the ball down with my irons and driver, but these balls have given me feel and control i have only had glimpses of in the past. Playing on my usual course meant i could gauge accurately my distance. Overall , my distance has increased by upto 15 yards with my irons and a good 20 with the driver. Most importantly is the control and accuracy that has come with it. I cannot tell you what the DT balls are like as i am that pleased with the Velocity i dare not change. I will absolutely be changing to these Velocity balls for the future. Thanks again for the freebies.

Tried out the new NXT Tour ball in a recent winter league match, noticed slightly more length a definite improvement in control and consistency, all of which contributed to a 5&4 win, happy days.

Having used both balls I am impressed how good both balls feel around the green, so not much in it between the two in that department.

Again both the Velocity and the DT Solo had good flight, but the Velocity seemed to have slightly greater distance.

I did shoot me best round with the Velocity and I feel it worked better for me than DT Solo.

However the DT Solo is still a good ball.

Tried both the DT Solo and Velocity balls last week for the first time and didn't find I was hitting one further than the other so from a consistency point of view I was happy.  I played the majority of my round with the DT Solo as I felt much more comfortable striking the ball and controlling the distance.

            I played in our first Medal of the year on Sunday with the balls you sent out. I used the NXT Tour on the front nine and the NXT Tour S on the back nine. Not much difference score wise but found the Tour S was a lot longer off the tee. Highlight of the day was hitting the par five 16th easily in two and just lipping out for eagle. Overall I thought the Tour was slightly better as I found the Tour S just a little to soft for my game. Thanks for balls it was a nice surprise.

Finally got out on the course to try the new NXT Tour S.. 1st Tee 3 iron smashed it straight down the middle and loved the feeling off the club face!

Like the feel and control around the green.. though my short game was a little rusty after a 3 week lay off! Will be paying a visit to shops to buy some more!

Thank you Titleist for sending me the Velocity and DT Solo golf balls. First game of the season was at a new venue and with a new ball, normally use a srixon ball and have done for some time, but so impressed with Velocity will definitely change and hope the performance enhancement continues.

Hi Titleist I'd just like to say thanks for the golf balls to try, the Velocity ball I really liked, giving me I beleve an extra 20 yards on my driving and being straight and high with my Irons. I've yet to give the DT solo a decent try, putting the one I tried into a lake (they don't float) so will give the other one a chance to shine in the near future.

Recieved my NXT Tour S recently and played with a friend over his, long, home course over the next couple of days. Finished my third round with the same ball I started with which is a new one on me. Love the feel of the ball and feel confident trying to move the ball rather than just hit it as hard as I can.

Thanks to Titleist I recieved the new NXT Tour and NXT Tour S balls. I was amazed at the difference between the old balls and the new NXT's. I started with the NXT Tour on the front 9 this weekend and was surprised with the difference in my driving distance and ball flight compared to the previous NXT. But then I tried the Tour S on the back 9, WOW what a ball great distance from the tee and the feel with the wedges and on the green was amazing. As ever a great step forward by Titleist. I got out onto the course twice this week to try out the new Velocity balls and eventually managed to lose both after 30 holes!!! I thought the performance was on a par with other 'Distance' balls (I have used a Distance model in the recent past) so that the Velocity ball (like another manufacturer's equivalent) I thought felt 'hard' and not in a very comforting way.

I am looking forward to trying out the DT SoLo on my next outings but to be honest, After trying the online Ball Fitting guide, I'm going through a transition / trial between AD333 and NXT Tour S at the moment.

...I'm not sure that either the Velocity or DT SoLo balls are going to find higher favour than those?

 

A wonderful surprise to receive the balls. Finally got out and tried NXT Tour S, what a great ball. The feel is exceptional around the greens and a few extra yards have been gained. Have recommended these to my playing partners and sung the praises to any member who is willing to listen!! Good job Titleist.

Hi Can you advise on the different characteristics between the Pro v1, Prov1x, NXT Tour & Tour S. I'm looking to change from the Callaway Tour iz what Titleist ball would you recomend.
