Over the weekend the worldwide professional golf tours served as the backdrop for some impressive performances as seven players used a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball to record victories.
Leading the way, Titleist Brand Ambassador Webb Simpson carded four rounds in the 60s (64 - 63 - 67 - 66) at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open en-route to a six shot victory and his fourth career PGA Tour title.
Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf ball loyalists have now won 140 tournaments on the worldwide professional tours in 2013, four times the nearest competitor with 35 and more than all other competitors combined.
Joining Webb in the winner’s circle this week, Titleist Brand Ambassador Jin Jeong won the ISPS Handa Perth International, an event co-sanctioned by European and Australasian Tours, with a par on the first hole of a sudden death playoff. Pro V1 loyalist Amy Yang and Pro V1x loyalist Michael Allen also won on the first holes of their respective playoffs, with Yang converting a birdie putt to capture the LPGA's KEB HanaBank Championship and Allen a victory-clinching birdie at the Greater Hickory Classic on the Champions Tour.
At the 56th Kolon Korea Open, Pro V1x loyalist Sung-Hoon Kang claimed his second consecutive Korean Tour title and Pro V1x loyalist Ulrich Van Den Berg won the BMG Classic for his seventh career Sunshine Tour title.
Rounding out the players in the winner's circle, Pro V1 loyalist Scott Hend captured his third Asian Tour victory of the season, closing with a final round 4-under 67 to prevail at the Venetian Macau Open.

FAST FACT:This week marked the 13th anniversary of the tour introduction of the Titleist Pro V1 golf ball. First played at the Invensys Classic in Las Vegas in 2000, 47 players put the Pro V1 in play that week it was first available, including the eventual winner of the event. Since then, the successful momentum of Pro V1 and Pro V1x has continued around the globe, played by more players and trusted in more winning performances than all competing golf ball brands…combined.
