With wins on four different continents, Titleist Brand Ambassador Adam Scott (Talisker Masters) and Pro V1x golf ball loyalists Henrik Stenson (DP World Tour Championship), Harris English (OHL Classic at Mayakoba) and Wen-Chong Liang (Resorts World Manila Masters) proved once again that Titleist is the #1 ball in golf.
To date, 20,995 players around the world have trusted a Titleist golf ball on the worldwide professional tours in 2013, more than six times the nearest competitor with 3,071 and more than all other competitors combined.
Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf ball loyalists have now won 151 tournaments on the worldwide professional tours in 2013, more than four times the nearest competitor with 39 and more than all other competitors combined.
This is Team Titleist, let’s wrap-up the week…

PGA TOUR: OHL Classic at Mayakoba
Harris English won the rain-delayed OHL Classic at Mayakoba for his second PGA Tour title, pulling away for a four-stroke victory over fellow Pro V1x golf ball loyalist Brian Stuard in a 29-hole Sunday finish at Mayakoba.
Titleist Brand Ambassador Jason Bohn was among three players who tied for third place another shot back. In fact, English topped a leaderboard that included eight Titleist golf ball loyalists among the 11 who finished in the top 10 and ties.
Players relying upon a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x have won five of the first six events on the new 2013-14 wraparound season.
EUROPEAN TOUR: DP World Tour Championship Dubai
Titleist Pro V1x golf ball loyalist Henrik Stenson completed a "dream season" by claiming a historic double - the first player to win The Race to Dubai on the European Tour and the FedEx Cup on the U.S. PGA TOUR in the same season – following a six shot victory at the DP World Tour Championship Dubai. Stenson fired a closing 64 that included six birdies and a tap-in eagle on the final hole en route to a tournament-record 25-under par, 263 victory total.
Stenson was followed on the leaderboard by Ian Poulter (Pro V1x/2nd), last week’s winner Victor Dubuisson (Pro V1x/3rd) and Joost Luiten (Pro V1/4th), as each of the top four finishers relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success. Luke Donald (Pro V1x) and Lee Westwood (Pro V1x) were among three players tied for fifth.
The win was the first European Tour title of the year for Stenson after capturing two of the closing four FedExCup Playoffs events on the U.S. PGA TOUR.
AUSTRALASIAN TOUR: Talisker Masters
Titleist Brand Ambassador Adam Scott successfully defended his Australian Talisker Masters title for his second victory in two weeks, after posting a two-shot victory at wind-swept Royal Melbourne. Coming off the heels of his Australian PGA title last week, Scott rode a wave of confidence to help him secure another gold jacket.“I’ve never won back-to-back weeks so this is a first and something that I like. I think it’s very hard to win two tournaments full stop, let alone back to back, so I’m quite pleased with myself this week," said Scott.Up next for Adam – a spot on Team Australia at the ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf next week, again at Royal Melbourne. After that, he’ll have his sights set on the Australian Triple Crown as he looks to cap off an already remarkable season at the Australian Open in two weeks.
What’s in Adam Scott’s Bag?: Titleist Pro V1 golf ball, 913D3 driver (9.5°), 910FD fairway metal (15°), 712U 2-iron, 680 irons (3-9), Vokey Design SM4 pitching (48°) and sand (54°) wedges, Vokey Design TVD K-grind lob (60°) wedge, Scotty Cameron Futura X long putter.
ASIAN TOUR: Resorts World Manila Masters
Wen-Chong Liang (Pro V1x) won the inaugural Resorts World Manila Masters for his third career Asian Tour title. Liang birdied the first hole to win a sudden-death playoff with Prom Meesawat (Pro V1x).
The pair finished regulation on 16-under par 272. Meesawat fired a final round 7-under 65 to tie overnight leader Liang who closed with a 69.
Liang donated half of his $135,000 winner’s check to the relief efforts for victims of the recent Typhoon Haiyan that struck the southern part of the country.
Seven of the 11 players who finished among the top 10 and ties relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success.
