The Winning Setup: Jordan Spieth at the 2017 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Titleist Brand Ambassador Jordan Spieth relied upon the New Pro V1x golf ball and a bag full of Titleist equipment to comfortably secure his first PGA TOUR victory of the year at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Spieth closed with a 2-under-par 70 en route to a 19-under-par 268 total and four shot margin of victory.

"This is a bucket-list place to win,” Spieth said after the victory. “Here, Augusta National, St. Andrews - there's only a few in the world. It feels really special. It was amazing walking up the 18th green knowing that we were going to win. It's just such a unique position. I tried to soak it in."

Spieth took a commanding six-shot lead after a 7-under-par 65 on Saturday, a round that was highlighted by only 10 putts on the back nine. His scorecard was unblemished for the final 28 holes he played.

The performance marks Spieth’s first PGA Tour victory of the year and the ninth of his career.

He also won the Australian Open the first time he put the New 2017 Pro V1x golf ball in play in November.

Spieth now has four top 10s in his four PGA Tour starts this year and has shot under par in all 16 rounds he has played.

Congratulations, Jordan!

TITLEIST BY THE NUMBERS

Titleist was the overwhelming field favorite in golf balls at the 2017 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am with 108 players trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x for their success, more than six times the nearest competitor with 16 and more than all competitors combined.

Of these 108 Titleist golf ball players, nearly half (including Jordan Spieth) have already made the switch to the new 2017 Pro V1 and Pro V1x models, which were introduced to the public two weeks ago (learn more here). A total of 17 players relied on the New 2017 Pro V1 this week at Pebble Beach and 30 trusted their games to the New 2017 Pro V1x.

Titleist was also the top choice in the hybrid (30) and irons (44) categories. Vokey Design Wedges topped the approach, sand and lob wedge (198) category and Scotty Cameron putters were the top choice in the putter (70) category.
