Jaeger Captures Second Web.com Tour Title

The BMW Charity Pro-Am was shortened to 54 holes due to heavy rain, and it was Titleist golf ball loyalist Stephan Jaeger (Pro V1) who finished atop the leaderboard, winning for the second time on the Web.com Tour.

The 27-year old German topped a trio of players, including Titleist golf ball loyalists Tyler Duncan (Pro V1) and Xingun Zhang (New Pro V1x) and Titleist Brand Ambassador Andrew Yun (New Pro V1x), by one shot. In fact, each of the nine players who finished among the top 5 and ties relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success.

Jaeger shot a 7-under-par 65 on Saturday to take the 54-hole lead at 19-under-par 195.

On Sunday, upon learning that the final round had been washed out, Jaeger joked, "I didn't miss a shot today, which was cool. It's unfortunate. I was ready to play, I was ready to compete today, but the rain was not letting up and the golf course can only take so much."

Jaeger, who went wire-to-wire at the Ellie Mae Classic last season for his first Web.com Tour victory, moved from 103rd to seventh on this year’s money list with the win. He also shot a 58 in last year’s victory.

Congratulations, Stephan!
