I have been playing for about a year and a half and i was doing alright. About a month ago I started  to go downhill. It is my swing I think. I don't know what to do? Try outs for my high school golf team is coming up and want to make the team. Any help?

  2. I have been playing for the same amount of time, and have the same problem. I find that if that happens my best fix is to pretend par 4`s are 5`s and 5`s are 6`s. Instead of pullin hybrid or long iron for second shot on a longer hole pull 7 or 8. Then magically half way through the round my swing comes back. good luck with school team.

If you want to be successful at that level, at some point you will need to trust your skills to a mentor/coach.  Many local pros have programs to help youths.  You will need to find your guru go to person to help you with your swing and all of its glorious faults (just quoting a recent ad by AP). It is usually something simple but takes a skilled eye to find and fix quickly
