    Hi,

Tomorrow I am having my last golf school tournament, with won't just decide the tournament winner but also the  Order of Merit winner ( I don't know how to say this in English but it's basically the prize for the one who has less shots in their best two out of three tournaments)

I am still a beginner, and this is will obviously be an amateur tournament but I was wondering if you have any tips for one of my first tournaments, both psychological  and practical tips to improve my game and to avoid stress.

It will be an important tournament for me since I can still win the Order of Merit. So any tip from the experienced ones? Do you remember what helped you go through your first tournaments with nice and low scores?

Thank you very much for your time,

    Gil

Good luck in the tournament, Gil.  My only advice would be to focus on the shot at hand and forget everything else.  Don't get ahead of yourself thinking about what may be and don't dwell on any previous shots.  When you are coming down the line, I just think about the shot I am about to hit and make it the best I can.  Stay in the moment.  Good luck and have fun!
