Heading to Myrtle Beach in May! Anybody have suggestions for the best golf under $100/round?

Hey Clint.  I'm not 100% certain of the May rates, but several of these will be under $100 and the others should be pretty darn close.  We go down in March on a package and it's right before the Spring rates kick in.  You can't go wrong with any of these course.  Google em and see what you think.

Any of the 3 Legends Courses

    Myrtle Beach National Kings North

    Heritage Plantation (Pawley's Island)

    Long Bay

The Witch (it's well under $100 but I just love that course)

    Pine Lakes (the Grandaddy)

Go to MYGOLFNUS.com . I got this card several years ago for 39.99. It is good for a year and good for courses in US and Canada also. The card is also good for up to a foursome. I go to Myrtle beach several times a year. I played 5 rounds in August for under 200. If you sign up please use me as a referral. My number is 20989. They have e-specials every month and play days at several courses. It the best thing I have purchased to save money on playing golf.

if you head north of town, you will find plenty of courses for under $100.  i would check golfnow.com or what i do, go to google maps and see what courses pop up.  then go to their websites and see how much.

I was there this summer and played Tradition. Really enjoyed it and the staff was top notch. Also played River Club, but enjoyed Tradition more. Both are just outside of Myrtle in Litchfield Beach.

I've used yourgolfpackage.com several times to book Myrtle Beach golf packages.  Each time we try to upgrade to better courses; and regardless, I haven't been let down on the course that we have played.

Carolina National is probably our favorite.  As mentioned above, we also played the Witch, Wizard, and Man O War which were all nice.  We also played the St James Plantation courses up that were all nice and enjoyable.  I'm sure there are "better" courses  but I don't think you'll go wrong.

Good luck and hit em straight!

Not exactly sure on cost, but played Crow Creek, Sea Trails, Sandpiper, and Oysterbay in spring 2013.  Sandpiper and Oysterbay I liked a bit more.  I would play any of those again though.  2014 we will be playing The International Club, Indian Wells, Wicked Stick, Founders Club, and World Tour.  Enjoy your trip.

Check out golfnow, golfnus and the others foro good deals.

I lived close to there for a couple of years and you can play a lot of the courses for under a $100 by doing a little research.

My favorite are Pawleys Plantation, True Blue, Caledona, Kings Plantation. And you get get them for under 100 if you put in a little

I just got home from there Monday, it was awesome! Three of the many courses that I enjoyed were TPC Myrtle Beach, World Tour Golf Links, and The Big Cats courses. I would check them all out

I just went down there in September.  Played all of the Legends courses and the courses associated with them (Heritage Club, Oyster Bay, and TPC at Myrtle Beach).  All 6 of those golf courses are great and affordable!  I was part of a group of 4.  The 6 rounds and a villa rental for 5 nights was under $600 per person booked directly through the Legends Resort staff.  Fantastic deal and a great experience!
