Hello Titleist golfers, I live in Arizona and was wondering if anyone knew of any good golf courses to try out. Ive played many of the courses out here, just like to get an opinion from fellow golfers. Thanks! Happy Holidays to every one.

    Hey Brandon,

That's a great question. Arizona has so many courses and many of them are hidden gems. It really depends on how far you want to drive and what your price range is, as there are so many in different ranges.

Here are a few that I really like and ones that I would like to try.

Like: ASU Karsten, Eagle Mountain, Kokopelli, Papago (city course), Raven golf club at South Mountain, Legacy, Stonecreek, Kierland, Gainey Ranch, Biltmore, Talking Sticks, Bear Creek, Dobson, Superstition Springs,

Courses I still want to try: The Phoenician, TPC Scottsdale, Whisper Rock, Grayhawk.

The best way to see what's out there is maybe go on a site such as Golfnow.com and see what courses are out there and try them out for as cheap as you can.

Let is know what courses you try and how you like them. Also, any courses you can suggest as well?

    Sam

My friends and I do our annual buddies trip to AZ every year. We played TPC Scottsdale this year and it was an awesome experience. The staff was excellent and the course is laid out well.

  7. I like las sendas in mesa good track, whisper rock was a real treat to play very cool seeing all the impressive names on the lockers (Phil, John Elway,Olgilvy ect.) TPC is overrated we ko pa is supposed to be the best although I have not played there

I have just returned back to the snow of Canada after spending the holidays in the Scottsdale area. This trip, all but 1 round was at Eagle Mountain which is a track I love and very close to our place there. The other round was at Golden Canyon on their Dinosaur 18. Very impressed with this course. Great conditions. Short, but challenging.

Hey there...if you like a challenge, play Papago. It is a city course and is in really great shape. From the tips it's pushing 7,400....if you're up for that.but all in all the course is great from blue tees, white tees , etc...

Best course you may have never heard of is Quintero. It is without a doubt one of the best in the whole valley..... Yes, it is right there with all big names everyone is referring to. It's in the northwest valley so depending where you are staying, it might be a drive. I promise, it will be worth it though.

Brandon, There are a ton of great courses in the area to play. A lot will depend on the budget your group has and if you can get access to some of them. Some of my personal favorites are Whisper Rock, Greyhawk, TPC Scottsdale. If you get a chance to get up in the Flagstaff area Pine Canyon might be the best course in the state.
