In approximately 32 hours, I plan to be on the road, heading south to Myrtle Beach.  The event is World Am Championship, 72 holes of stroke play, flighted across 72 groups.  Over 3300 participants, 60+ participating courses - I can't imagine the logistics of putting this togehter.

The past few days, I've been stocking up, starting with ProV1x's and gloves, but with the projected track of Erika, I picked up another set of rain gloves and replaced my rain pants.  Forecast is showing 60% chance of rain for each day, but hopefully she'll head out to sea.

I've received my course list:  River Hills, Carolina National, TPC Myrtle and Hackler at CCU.  It's my first trip to MB, so I don't know what to expect except fun.  I've also slated a round at True Blue.

So if anyone else is headed down - give me shout.  Or if you see my car go by (CT plates with "I'd rather be driving a Titleist" and  Team Titleist stickers - just beep!
