Too be honest, the only thing I've played there was Oxmoor Valley. Played a few private clubs north of Birmingham years ago, that were GREAT. Me and a buddy did 7 stops in 8 days on the trail years ago......What a blast......

I'm a fan of the Robert Trent Jones Trail. Of all of the courses on the Trail, Ross Bridge is my favorite. At over 8,000 yards from the tips it's sure to challenge anyone's game. When I'm at Ross Bridge I play it in the morning and then play a second round at Oxmoor Valley a few miles away. Both courses are excellent. If you haven't played them give them a try. Take a camera as both courses are beautiful.

From out of state, RTJ is the easy way to find consistent courses in Alabama. Besides Ross Bridge and Oxmoor, I also like to jump to Montgomery and add in the Senator and The Judge. Grand National in Opilaka is another good choice.
