I currently have only 13 clubs in the bag and my wedges are due for a change. Currently play: Putter, Driver, 3 wood, 19 degree hybrid, AP2 712 4-PW, specs say the PW in my set is 47 degrees. My current wedges are Original SM 54.10 and 60.08. Should I get a 50,54,(58 or 60) or 52,56,60 combo?? Or stick with just a two wedge option and get a hybrid or something?, but short game is kind of my thing. What do you guys have in the bag?

    Hi Ben,

    Thanks for the question.

When it comes to gapping wedges, it is important to identify what full shot yardages you typically have throughout the course of a round. After identifying these yardages, make sure you find the right GW - SW lofts that will help you hit better shots. From there, hit both the 58 and 60 around the green and determine which one you prefer for short shots.

A local fitter can help you through the process and also help you determine the correct bounce and grind options.

    Hope this helps,

    Bubba
