I'm trying to figure out my set up and what is/isn't working. My natural swing tends to be more of a sweeping style. My current wedge has a 12* bounce so I feel I have to chop down on it. Am I better off switching to a lower angle to keep the feel more of the same?

The general rule, or thinking, that I've heard for swing type is: Sweepers = mid to lower bounce, Diggers = mid to high bounce.

You'll also want to take into account the courses you play the most. Courses that are more lush or soft (rain) = mid to high bounce, courses that are hard-pan (dry) or thinner lies = mid to lower bounce.

Your chipping style can also come into play, if you loft or de-loft the club.

Sweepers on hard-pan courses = least bounce
Sweepers on lush/soft courses = mid bounce
Diggers on hard-pan courses = mid bounce
Diggers on lush/soft courses = most bounce

I'm a bit of a digger with my wedge full swing. My home course is in a lower flood-plain area, so it can be really soft. I am also a deloft chipper, I like to get the ball on the ground and running as soon as possible, but I hate putting from off the green (except in Scotland).

I recently pickup the following wedges/setup:
    - 46.08 (F)
    - 50.12 (F)
    - 56.10 (M)
    - 62.08 (T)

My main full shot and chipping wedges (46 & 50) have the max bounce. The 56 is my sand wedge. I didn't get the F or S grinds on that I really blast down on the sand for my bunker shots and the M grind offers more versatility. The 62 has a good amount of bounce (for 60+*) and is stricktly a specialty club that i use strickly for flop shots and down-hill-lie bunker/short rough shots.
