I've had my SM4s for a long time now and want to upgrade to SM6s. What grind is equivalent to stock SM4s? Back when I bought these the only choice was how much bounce, now what grind.

  2. If I had to guess for lower lofts like 50 and 52 it would be F grind and higher lofts like 56 and 60 it would be S grind

Go to the top of this site and click on clubs. Then go to the bottom on the page and click on other clubs. You can find the SM4 wedges there and find the wedge that you have and look for the loft and sole on yours and compare to the new SM6 Wedges that are listed on this site. This information is available for your comparison on this site. Hope this helps you. Cheers, Chuck

Several grinds and bounces for these new Sm6's. Go get fit without question. I upgraded from the SM4's to the SM6's several months ago. Got fit for 50,54 F grind's and a 58 Degree K grind. They are without question WELL worth the upgrade! Good Luck!
  5. The SM4 and SM6 are models that are different designs, the grinds are the same however...

If you examine in the archive on the Titleist.com website with the loft and bounce it should tell you what grind the SM4's are that you have.

Great question. I am in the same boat. Thanks for posting.
