  1. How do you know how much weights is perfect for you on your Newport? I do t have a fitting available close by.

  2. You have to do some trial and error in order to find the perfect set up. However generally for a 35" putter 10 grams weights are a good start and for a 34" putter 15 gram weights and for a 33" putter 20 gram weights.

    Good Luck!

Chris92009 is right, it is a trial and error.
Personnaly I like a heavy putter. I put 25 gr weights on a 33 inch Newport 2. I found that this way it is easier for long put to have the wright distance. Also on short put I found that I have a solid stroke.
It is a question of feeling.
  4. Thanks guys. I will try some 15gram. I putted really well this last week with 10 grams I think with my lag putting the heavier will be better. Easier to judge distance.
