My brother never gives me xmas gift ideas - so when he gave me one for a fitted Titleist hat this year, I was pumped! But... it seems they are incredibly hard to find in Canada (and not the L/XL hats, I mean the actual sized ones - the kid has a massive head, so the L/XLs never fit him).
The one site I found in the US doesn't ship to Canada, so that was a no-go!
I tried emailing Titleist Canada about this directly, but it's been 2 weeks and I havent had a reply, so figured I'd take it to the forums!
He needs one that's sized for 7 3/4s, and I was just wondering if anyone out there knew where I could track one down! (and if it happened to be this awesome forest green colour, that would be even better - but i'll take anything I can find at this point!)
Hello, read your reply with interest, I too have a large head, (7 5/8) always on the look out for a fitted hit, really like the Titleist fitted hats. That said the L/XL are just too small. Are there any Titleist fitted hats available in the XL size.....if so, how do I get them. Thanks
I have a larger hat size as well 7 5/8 to 7 3/4 in New Era baseball hats. I currently have 5 titleist tour hats that are all L/XL size and they all fit me. I found that when I go to a golf shop I try on all the L/XL's they have because there are always one or two that are a little bigger than the others. In fact, I have a white one that's almost too big for me! Good luck finding the right fit!
Thank you all for your comments. These are the first comments we have heard regarding inconsistent fits of Titleist hats.
If you feel that you have a defective hat, please return it with proof of purchase to the retailer you purchased it from. We will be happy to look at the product from there and replace it should it be deemed defective.
If this issue reoccurs we would love to continue to follow up.
As for finding L/XL, it is difficault for us to predict inventory at Titleist Authorized retailers at this time of year as they may have sold out of the items in question. That being said, you can ask any Titleist Authorized Retailer to order you in line product from us if not in stock at the location.
We hope this helps!
I am a self proclaimed hat freak. I have several titleist fitted hats, as well as a bunch of New Era fitted major league baseball hats and I have found that there is always a slight variance in size. For instance, I have a Yankees hat size 7 5/8 that fits me perfectly, but I've been in shops and tried other hats the same size on and they were either too tight or too loose. I've tried 4 or 5 hats the same size on in shops and found inconsistencies frequently. When I go to golftown or a pro shop to buy a hat I always try on every L/XL they have in the color I'm looking for and pick the best one because of this. The odd time I've found a hat that is labelled L/XL and really should have been S/M too. The best part (especially with Titleist fitted hats) is that I've always seemed to be able to find the perfect fit for me! These hats are the best too for comfort, look, and the new mesh keeps you cool!
