    Many thanks to the Titleist staff at the Eagle's Nest National Fitting Center !!!

    It was an awesome day to get a chance to try out the new 716 line of irons, and in particular the new 816 line of hybrids. The new SM5 Vokey Wedges certainly got me thinking that I may be giving them another look. In particular I liked the 56 degree that I spent the most time with. The Futura X putters were nice as well. Unfortunately I think everyone struggled with the down hill putts and the speed of the practice green :)

    There is definitely going to be a new 816 H1 in my bag next year. I will have to go for a fitting with Chris first to make sure I select the correct loft, lie angle, and shaft of course.

    I would like to thank Andre for his tutoring following the demonstrations. It was really nice to be able to spend some quality time with Andre and get to know some of the Titleist staff in person. What a great company to give us the chance to spend time with their staff, and to give the staff the opportunity to spend time with the users of their product.

    Thanks to Wendy and Tom as well. It was a great day and a lot of laughs ! 

    (Wendy - I think there were one or two bunkers you did not visit so perhaps we will have to try again another time)

    I'd like to add my Thank You as well. Even though it was a cold, windy and wet day I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was a pleasure to meet my fellow TT members and staff. The new clubs were amazing...especially the 716 irons. I plan on going back in the spring to be fitted for two new wedges as well. I got to try a Vokey with the correct shaft for me and WOW, what a difference. They went from the want list to the NEED list. And thanks to my playing partners Darius, Tom and Andre for putting up with me while I dug my way out of almost every bunker on the course. What an amazing course! Hopefully next time I play it won't be such rotten weather. I enjoyed it regardless. BTW....Andre has an amazing game; especially with his putter. I was in awe watching him! And a double thanks for the swag bag. I can't believe how generous TT is with it's members and I'm sure I speak for all....we really appreciate it.

    I couldn't agree with you anymore!  I wanted to thank Mitch, Andre, Chad, Chris and Ryan along with Team Titleist for having us lucky members and putting on such a great event.  It was a real treat to be one of the first to try out the new 716 line of irons, the new Hybrids and even the Scotty Cameron putters.  As always, you guys went above and beyond for us and the gift bag was top notch.  Sooooo many jealous friends already, lol! 

    I must say I was really impressed with the AP2's and the H1 Hybrid!!  I really enjoyed the new format of a chipping and putting contest to help get the competitive juices flowing.  Then the opportunity to play Eagles Nest was icing on the cake.  I would love to get back out there again in the summer time with out that wind.  As stated above, I really enjoyed the company of Andre, Wendy and Darius.  Lot of laughs and some good golf was shared between us. 

    It was real nice to see old friends and to make some new ones sharing the same joy in Titleist products.  Alex, thanks again for giving me some helpful tips on my swing and I can't wait to work with them.  It was great to see you and hopefully next time you will be able to play some golf with us!!

    All in all a great day and I have attached a couple pics of our day and Wendy in one of the many "magnetic" bunkers!  Absolute champ with the sand shots.....

    Looks like I need to add some FootJoy gear.......

    Darius I agree! It was REALLY cold and windy. Tom, thanks for posting the photos....my husband got a laugh out of me playing in the sand box. I look forward to meeting up with my TT buddies again soon.

    I echo all of the above.  I had a great time trying out all of the new clubs that day.  The thought process behind the new 816 hybrid models is a definite winner.  The idea of making it a scoring club versus a resue club makes so much sense.

    Hats off to Eagles Nest for hosting, the course was in great form.  I enjoyed my foursome great guys and golf enthusiasts to boot.

    A big thank you to Mitch and the guys at Team Titleist for a great day.

    Hello fellow TT'ers, Sounds and looks like it was a great time. I wish I could have gone. I did swing my clubs that day with some old friends. Showing off the sticks. Next time I'll be there as I will be looking forward to trying new equipment. Dennis

    Hi Todd,
    Rally up your friends in Calgary who are Titleist Brand Fans and Equipment users to join Team Titleist and participate in the Discussion Forums.  We would most definitely consider coming out should there be a strong, loyal group of interactive Team Titleist Members in a region outside of Ontario.

    Big thanks to Team Titleist staff absolutely loved the 716 iron line as well as the new wedges excellent performance and styling Scotty Cameron putter was a treat to putt with  exceptional feel great day over all weather could have been a bit better and thanks  to eagles nest for a sweet place for it all to take place at :D
