Game Preferences on Course

    Hi Everyone, I recently signed up for team titleist, and man am i glad i did. I love the products and love playing golf. I began paying 5 summers ago and have fallen in love with the game. My main reason for the topic is I am just wondering what everyone prefers in terms of games with your friends, tournaments, or just a friendly game at your local club. Personally i love scrambles but, if playing my own ball i'd say my favourite is poker where you begin with 5 cards and earn or lose them through out the round. 

    Looking forward to the responses as we enter into colder weather here in eastern ontario.

    Curious...  What is you favorite format when playing with a regular foursome?

    My Monday, Wednesday, Friday foursome mostly play a two man match. Our handicaps are close enough that as long as I play one set of tee blocks back we can play straight up. Low score for the team wins the hole, and if both teams tie with low score we use aggregate to break the tie. Total skins (no carry-overs) at the end of the round decides the winning team.

    It is fun as even though we are playing match-play, everyone still plays the full 18 holes for score.

    Hey Matt...  I asked a similar question last week, and as yet have not heard back from anyone.

    I often see posts can get missed as they slide down the page so I am not surprised. Hopefully we get some nice feedback on your thread.

    we play skins no carry over and we give strokes also for harder holes. I also play a season long with a few different friends for who wins the most games in the season get a bottle of premium booze
