Tough question to answer. I will bet that everyone that answers will tell you a different grip to use. The grip is your connection to the club, only you can determine what feels good in your hands.

I would head out to a Golf Galaxy or similar store and put your hands on the grips to decide. They usually have 20+ different grips available.

Grips are a very personal item. Some like soft grips, some like tacky grips and others like firmer grips with cord embedded. My personal preference is the Golf Pride Decade grips. Good combination of firm rubber with cord on top and soft rubber on the bottom. Go to your local golf shop or store, they should have a full assortment of grips that you can pick up to see which feels the best to you.

Though I use a glove at times, I go through periods where I will play without a glove. I use Golf Pride New Decade Multi-Compound Grips. They seem to work very well with or without a glove.
  5. As others have said, grips are a personal choice. My personal choice for soft tacky grips that could be used without a glove our golf pride CP 2. Check this out when you go shopping...

Very tough question to answer as stated that is a personal choice. Also, you have to factor in what type of weather you will be playin in to get the right grips. Dry, humid, hot, etc. for the right feel.

I never wear a glove. Think they're a scam perpetrated on us by the glove manufacturers. I use Tour Velvet grips on all my clubs. Easy to clean and you have to keep them clean. I just wipe them off with a wet towel and then wipe them down with a dry towel and they're like new. After you get used to not wearing a glove, you wonder why you wasted all that time and money playing with gloves.

Try the Golf Pride Tour Wrap. Their tackiness seems to have staying power and they're easy on the hands.

I just replaced my Golf Pride MCC Plus Fours with Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G grips. I really like the way they feel better than the corded MMCs. The Tour Wrap 2Gs are soft, but not spongy feeling, and have a very good tacky feeling.
