Anyone else have a hard time getting the straps adjusted so the bag sits right on your back? I adjust them when its on my back, it down, pick it up and the bag doesn't feel right.

Love the bag, but the straps are frustrating me. Any help is appreciated.

  2. I've been meaning to post about the players 4 bag straps myself. Not only are the difficult to adjust, but it was difficult enough to the point that when tightening the strap on my left shoulder two weeks ago the buckle the strap goes through snapped! I got the bag at the end of June and can now only use it as a single shoulder.

Same boat as you, love the bag - it's just the issue with the strap that is bugging me.

Ok, at least its not me, sorry about yours breaking. The setup is really odd, I don't care for the floating center part. Maybe I am missing something, but I don't care for this newer setup.

I had posted about what to do with the excessive strap length but I didn't mention it took me about a week of adjusting till I got it on my back correctly. I love the bag so it took patience on my part.

Ok thanks. I will keep working on it. The bag is fantastic, once I figure out the straps.

I'm having problems with plastic holder which both straps go through, as the one of the straps keeps coming out and its quite a frustrating to get back in and over time I'm sure one of the plastic parts will snap.

Ok, thanks for the responses. I finally got it sorted out, working well now. Walked 18 yesterday, bag is very comfortable.

Any of you guys have issues w/ the legs dangling slightly and not locking against the bag when you're using both straps?
  10. does anyone have an answer for Austin M because i have the same dangling problem with the left leg of my bag. I don't know why it is dangling a little. the screws are tight so there is no apparent reason.

    Please help !

Not on this post but several other posts about legs you can read and find the answer. The key is to pop the plastic band on the wires and move it up about an inch. That will create more tension which will make the legs retract with more force.

Ok, played another round with mine, still having issues. I pick it up and it sits wrong, I adjust it, then next time pick it up and its wrong again. I am about ready to give this up. Its a great light bag and looks great, but I walk almost all the time and its a pain.
  14. Just bought one last week (4UP Players Stand Bag) and I CAN NOT get the left shoulder strap to stay in place. Absolutely horrible design. Worse, i think is Titleist's silence on all this. They used to be a quality company. They haven’t made a decent players bag in 5-8 years.

C’mom Titleist, get your act together and support the people who keep you in business!!

John O, sorry you are having problems. I have been using my Players 4 since the first of the year, walking 4-6 times a week and have only had the strap come out of the plastic cross ring one time. The design is to allow the left strap to quick disengage so that you can convert easily to a single strap bag, something the caddies like when doing a double looping job. You can probably run the straps the opposite way through the ring and that way the other strap will help hold it in place. I think its a bit harsh to imply that Titleist isn't a quality company or that they are silent on defects. I find them very supportive and you might consider talking to a customer service rep. Contact using the information on the lower right side of the website.
  16. The instructions do not include any words, only confusing pictures. I have not found it easy to convert to one strap. Any suggestions.

Larry. Assuming you are right handed and want the single strap on the right shoulder. Easiest way is disconnect all four points. Separate the two straps at the plastic cross-tie. Reconnect the right hand strap to the lower right and upper left connectors. If you plan on keeping it that way and the plastic cross-tie is on that strap, consider undoing the bottom strap from the connector and sliding it off just so it is not there, bothering you. Add it to the left hand strap you are not using so you won't loose it. Cheers.
  18. Bought it last year. Not cheap. Bag is solid but the straps are garbage. If Titleist really cared about their customers they'd admit this design flaw and provide players with a swap out with the new padded version. Heck, I'd buy it at cost just to make it more comfortable to carry. I bough a carry bag to carry and it is a constant battle with the plastic piece of crap they put on the original edition. I don't Eben try anymore. Next time its Sun Mountain or another brand unless they offer a solution, and may be time to switch ball brands if they don't;.
  19. Turn the plastic piece around makes a massive difference
