my instructor advised me to get a ball fitting done to help my game. So i have a fitting set up in couple weeks i told the fitter i wanted stay with in titleist line. he also stated that bridgestone was coming in june..... said i might want to come back  that with my swing speed bridgestone might work better for me..........

i told him that i will put bridgestone tires on my truck, not in my bag.

    Find a new instructor...

I enjoy spokesperson Dave's commentary on course, but even though I'm 20 mph slower than a pro for head speed, my -1X is still the best performing ball and I can still boom it (relative to my game) ...at any speed.  And it doesn't need to get updated every year.

New balls do not necessarily mean better performance either. I for one prefer the 2011 line of ProV1x over any of the current line up. Although the current ball seems more durable I get much better performance tee to green from the '11 ball.
