When I started golf in the 1960's, Titleist sold 3 different balls in the pro shop. The least expensive ( 50 cents) was the Club Special. The most expensive was the Titleist at $1.25. Does anyone remember the midrange $.75 ball's name? This had been bothering me for some time.

I worked in the Pro Shop at our country club as an asst. professional at the time. I remember ordering and selling this popular ball on a regular basis. The mid priced ball was the Acushnet Pinnicle. It was a great ball for players who shot in the high 80's and 90's. I believe the name was used again by Acushnet for a better ball that many of my fellow golfers used.
I just purchased 2 sleeves of unopened 1960ish Acushnet Titleist black golf balls with red numbers on them. They are in near mint condition with the original box. I told the lady at the thrift store to hang on to them but she refused to. So, for $10, yes I said $10 I'm pretty sure that I gotta great deal.
I have two dozen of the club special balls still in the box. Anyone know the value buy chance? All Black letters and numbers.
